Azlan completes formation of Partner International Business Team

Comprehensive range of expert international trading services now available to internationally focussed European partners

Munich, Jan 31st, 2009: Azlan, Europe's leading distributor of enterprise networking, server, storage and enterprise software solutions has completed the formation of its International Business Team (IBT) and is now offering a comprehensive range of services for partners trading across international boundaries.

"Our objective is to make it easier for internationally focused partners to do business by meeting the demand for such services as expert management of international shipments says Steve Cant, Director Enterprise & Access Networking, Azlan Europe. "This initiative means that vendor and reseller partners can benefit from best in class services in key areas such as import duties, compliancy and VAT as well as specific delivery, management and invoicing".

The IBT is based at Azlan's European administration centre in York, England, supported by individual account management representatives based in all 16 countries in which Azlan has a fixed presence. The team offers both central and local models, shipping to multiple countries or specific locations, but controlled from a single point of contact. For additional flexibility, invoices can be generated and issued from York or in-country offices. The team works to stringent service levels to ensure the highest levels of service are delivered whilst remaining flexible to tailor services to the specific requirements of partners.

Commenting on the formation of the group, Cant states "In today's climate, producing initiatives which add value and increased profitability to Partner relations is key to developing long term growth. With the IBT, Azlan offers Partners a unique ability to rapidly deliver core products internationally leveraging best in class logistics, VAT and import/export expertise with service attachment and configuration. All from a single point of order invoiced locally or centrally".
