The 3Com Focus Partner Program provides 3Com partners the tools, support, resources and training to expand market reach, and access to new market leading technologies and solutions to maximize profitability and foster growth.

As partners increase their commitment to 3Com by becoming Specialized, achieving certifications, and other important business expanding initiatives, their overall recognition within the Focus Partner Program increases.

An objective points-based-system provides a transparent framework where partners can measure their abilities and advance within the program. 3Com partners achieve a level in the Focus Partner Program — Gold, Silver, Bronze and Registered — by completing a business plan and earning points in three areas: Achieving Specializations, Delivering/Reselling Services, and Revenue Performance.

Gold — Focus Gold Partners are strongly committed and consistently successful in selling 3Com products, and have often invested the most in training and technology specializations. They have the highest level of credibility and support in the market place.

Silver — Focus Silver Partners are committed to 3Com products and have invested significantly in training and technology specializations.

Bronze — Focus Bronze Partners are actively selling 3Com products and many have begun to invest in technology specializations.

 

Technology Specialisations

While success in the 3Com Focus Partner Program can come from ‘just selling’, the Focus Partner Program focuses on value-add behavior through partner Specializations.

 

3Com Specializations are at the heart of our award-winning Focus Partner Program. They build on Product Authorizations to drive true value-add. By committing to one or more of our technical specialization areas, you’ll earn extra rewards and elevate your status in the Focus Partner Program while you expand your expertise, differentiate your firm, and maximize your profitability.

 

 

3Com Enterprise LAN Specialization

Demonstrates the partner's capability to identify and design LAN solutions for enterprise customer networks, implementing 3Com high-end switch range — including the 5500, 7700 and 8800 switches. Provides exclusive access to the restricted 8800 switch series.

 

IP Telephony Specialization

Demonstrates the partner's capability to identify and design IP Telephony solutions with 3Com's market-leading NBX and VCX IP Telephony products and suite of Convergence applications. Provides exclusive access to all 3Com IP Telephony products and solutions.

 

Security Specialization

Demonstrates the partner's capability to identify and design highly secure networks of all sizes. Provides exclusive access to 3Com Security solutions including TippingPoint™ (a division of 3Com) security product lines.

 

Enterprise Wireless Specialization

Demonstrates the partner's capability to identify and design Wireless solutions for enterprise customer networks. Designed from the ground up to help you develop and build your team's knowledge and skills, the Specialization will enable you to achieve better performance as you consult, design, and sell 3Com Enterprise Wireless solutions.

 

SMB Solutions Partner

The SMB Solutions Partner level is for all partners who sell switches and wireless products. Partners will enjoy significant benefits in training, advance product info and profitability enhancement.

 

As a partners' incrementally invest in 3Com through increased certification, training and other requirements, they profit from incremental benefits including access to restricted products, rebates, market recognition, and more.

Specializations may have the following levels:

 

Elite Specialized Partner

Elite Specialized Partners are an exclusive group of partners who have met 3Com’s most stringent requirements for technical and sales training, as well as service capabilities. In addition to having access to all products within the Specialization product category, these partners receive the highest level of benefits within the program.

 

Specialized Partner

Specialized Partners have met 3Com’s requirements for technical and sales support. This level provides access to some restricted product, but not necessarily all restricted products within a specialization (i.e. IP Telephony and Security). These partners will receive additional benefits including 3Earnings rebates and Focus Level attainment points.

 

Specialized Reseller

Currently offered within the IP Telephony Specialization, the Specialized Reseller level offers access to a limited set of restricted products. These partners have met sales and technical training requirements and receive 3Earnings rebates and Focus Level attainment points.

3Earnings Rebates

The 3Com Focus Partner Program was designed to maximize partner profitability and to invest back in the partners that are investing in us. Becoming specialized entitles a partner to a quarterly rebate that rewards partners for achieving specific targets within the specialization. Targets are heavily weighted toward training and education of partner sales and technical staff.

 

Focus Level Points  

Receive points toward attaining a higher Focus Level within the 3Com partner program. An elevated Focus level provides many other benefits, including access to the Partner Dashboard and MDF eligibility.

 

Recognition

Tiered Specialization and positioning allow you to differentiate yourself in the market place.

Becoming  a member of the  3Com Focus Partner Programme
