Azlan to help VARs and vendor partners to accelerate growth via innovative Go! channel development program.

Munich, 10 December 2009 – Azlan, Europe’s leading distributor of enterprise networking, server, storage and enterprise software solutions, is broadening its innovative channel marketing program branded Go! to accelerate VAR ability to access and win in high growth technology spaces such as voice, video, virtualisation and security etc.

Initiatives branded under the Go! program are designed to enable value focussed resellers to enter quickly into high growth technology areas. Reseller benefits contained within a program are selected to include such elements as; deal support and special financing, technical and commercial training & coaching, demo kit access, joint sales engagement & marketing programs, sales opportunity leads, preferential stock and personal account management.

With Go! we are redefining what ‘value’ means when it comes to channel marketing within the distribution sector.” states Sean Kendrick, Marketing Director for Azlan Europe. “Go! invests vendor funding within a clearly defined framework of targeted channel activities designed to create traction and accelerate new technology sales, at the same time identifying which of our VARs have the desire, capability and commitment to use this investment to accelerate their business”.

Azlan has run a number of technology focused pilot programs over the past 18 months and the success speaks to the effectiveness.  The approach offers resellers a differentiating solution or technology business model instead of competing on price and provides vendors with proven results.  To date resellers have been able to take advantage of elements within the Go! technology focussed programs for the likes of Oracle, VMware and Cisco with many different full variations being well adopted across Europe including Go!nGrow, Go!Virtual and Go!Voice.

Vendors are able to tailor their Go! program towards a specific objective and then analyse a database of more than 90,000 resellers Europe-wide to identify, recruit and activate those VARs that have the potential to deliver against that objective.   Azlan then works with resellers to ensure that they can maximise all benefits of the program to accelerate sales.  “Key to the success of such precision programs is for Azlan to understand the current and future needs of reseller partners in order to avoid non-targeted “shotgun marketing” and instead provide the right resellers with the core activities which support their growth”, comments Kendrick.  Azlan holds a detailed profile database on over 10,000 selected VARs in Europe and continues to build a more detailed picture of its entire database.

The latest addition to the Go! program is the Tandberg sponsored Go!Video which enables existing and new Tandberg partners to benefit from the exciting video conferencing related opportunity.  Go!Video aims to give partners the confidence and skills they need to develop their telepresence and videoconferencing sales. The program encourages partners to move towards accreditation with Tandberg and provides them with pro-active support at every stage of their development.

With significant ongoing investment into technology training and SMB focused programs being made, Azlan believes that those resellers with a focus on the small- and medium-sized business market stand to benefit most from Go! initiatives.
